Lets join hands to SAY NO TO FIRE CRACKERS

Fire Crackers usually contain elements like copper, cadmium,

sulphur, aluminium and barium to produce the vibrant colours once ignited. These also release very harmful gases into the atmosphere, like Nitrogen Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide and Sulphur Dioxide, to name a few. These poisonous gases hang in the air for a long time. Inhaling these harmful fumes emitted by firecrackers, increases the chances

of asthma attack among children and adults alike. Heart patients and patients of chronic bronchitis and other low immune system disorders are at high risk too. Let’s not poison the air we breath by bursting fire crackers. Apart from this, the loud sound of bursting fire crackers is not at all good for new born babies and the elderly also.

In this time of ever increasing prices, burning thousands of rupees in a few minutes to cause harmful noise and air pollution, has a life long negative effect. As a responsible citizen , we need to rethink on what we are doing.

Let's therefore, SAY NO TO FIRE CRACKERS .
